Meet Metztli

hello! my name is Metztli Uraje. i love cats, reading, quilting, jewelry making, listening to music, and eating at local diners. i am a graduate from CSU, Dominguez Hills, with a degree in Audio Engineering. i also have a degree in Music Business and MIDI Applications from Orange Coast College. i currently reside in Orange County and do most of my work here. my favorite way to pass the time is to work on crafts while playing my favorite music and making playlists to fit the mood i am feeling.

music has been a passion that i have always loved. i played the cello for 10 years, along with learning how to play different instruments along the way. i wanted to be involved in music so i learned how to navigate the music industry and find your own version of success. i went into the world of audio engineering and producing because i was curious about why some of my favorite songs sounded the way they did. that curiosity opened a whole new world that i soon fell in love with. these skills and my passion for music has led me to where i am now.

now, i want to dedicate this curiosity to fulfilling an artist’s vision and discovering their own version of success. i want artists to embrace authenticity and dismantle the limitations that are placed on artistry. i believe that artistic ideas and visions are gifts and messages that should be cultivated and be given the time and respect they deserve. in essence, i am an artist who wants other artists to find empowerment and fulfillment in their craft and to make it the best it can possibly be.

My creative process as an engineer and producer is driven by a passion for fulfilling a creative vision. I believe that I am not just an average engineer and producer , but rather a dedicated craftsman and artist who approaches each project with a commitment to an artist’s vision and their work. Unlike a machine that simply produces with no human spirit or emotion, I take the time to truly understand your vision and desired outcome. I delve deep into the intricacies of your project, carefully listening to every element to glean a comprehensive understanding of what will truly bring that vision the artist has into the light. It is through this understanding that I am able to deliver results that fulfill the artist’s vision, ensuring a final product that is not only true to the artist but also creatively compelling.
